Thank you to everyone for their efforts putting together yet another very succesful Match.
The weather was very kind to us this year, we had beautiful sunshine all day, picnic tables were out in front of the marquee what a slendid sight.
Terrier Racing this year was cancelled due to the heat, which I think is un heard of normally it’s because it is to wet.
Thank you once again and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday, the 6th October 2012.
MATCH DETAILS
October 1, 20102012 PLOUGHING MATCH
wll be held at
Rivers Farm, Blacombe.
Timings – Ploughmen arrive first at about 8am. Ploughing will start about 8.30-9.00 as Ploughmen do there openings. After judging they will continue ploughing from about 9.30. The Ploughmen have 3.5 hours to complete their plots.
Other events – Tug of War 1.30pm Dog Show 2.00pm Terrier Racing 2.30pm Ploughing results 3.30pm
Refreshments – Bacon rolls, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Cake. Tea, Coffee and Bar Drinks.
Come and join in the fun, it’s a great day out.

This year the Match will be held at Rivers Farm, Balcombe, by Kind Permission of Mrs P. Greenwood. Further details of site will follow shortly.
